Get Involved

We hope you’re interested in getting involved in THATCamp New England. Here is a list of suggestions of how you could help. Feel free to e-mail us at to volunteer or to let us know what you’re doing.

Promote

We need help promoting THATCamp New England to as many scholars, institutions, and departments as possible. Here are ways to promote THATCamp New England:

  • Send the call for participants to your department. You can see the CFP here, where you can also download a PDF to post on a bulletin board or to send to an e-mail list.
  • Personally invite a colleague to apply. If your colleague is familiar with the digital humanities, just point them to the application. If your colleague isn’t, let them know about the BootCamp educational sessions.
  • Link to us on Twitter or your blog.

Propose a Session

Once you have been accepted, be sure to propose a discussion session or workshop. You’ll get information about how to post to the blog in your acceptance e-mail. Your participation is vital!

Donate or Sponsor

We could use funds for food, supplies, t-shirts, and the like. We don’t have formal details on how you can donate, but we promise we won’t turn away your money. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll tell you how to donate. Any amount is appreciated.

If you know of a potential sponsor, or if you are interested in having your organization sponsor THATCamp New England, send us an e-mail. We’ll be grateful for both leads and sponsorships.
