- Mandel Center for the Humanities—for donation of space and help in organizing the event.
- Office of the Provost—for donation of funds and help in organizing the event.
- Library and Technology Services—for donation of funds ($500) and help in organizing the event.
Sponsoring Partner: NERCOMP
NERCOMP [the NorthEast Regional Computing Program] has partnered with THATCamp New England for the next four years. NERCOMP’s generous support includes a donation of $3,000 per year for four years, as well as proving essential organization and financial services. THATCamp New England and NERCOMP hope to work even more closely together in future years.
THATCamp CHNM and the Andrew Mellon Foundation
&
George Mason University’s Center for History and New Media began hosting THATCamp, then spread the concept to many other places. Their efforts, especially those of the tireless Amanda French, help make possible regional THATCamps like THATCamp New England.
In addition, CHNM has been funded by the Andrew W. Mellon foundation to support BootCamps at the regional THATCamps. Funds from the Mellon foundation provide micro-fellowships to BootCamp attendees and honoraria to BootCamp instructors.
John Nicholas Brown Center at Brown University
The John Nicholas Brown Center at Brown University donated $1,000 to provide fellowships for cultural heritage and public humanities professionals to attend workshops at THATCamp New England 2011. In addition, the JNBC, along with Brown University Libraries, supported THATCamp New England 2010.
… And Attendees Like You
At the 2010 THATCamp New England, held at the Wentworth Institute of Technology, attendees voluntarily donated over $1,000 when we passed the hat. We thank you for your generous donations that help keep this event free for all participants.
