I teach HG 330: Maine History, a class in which students both learn to perform historical interpretation and disseminate Maine historical knowledge by digitizing historical documents and developing online history exhibits. We are operating with the guidance of the Maine Historical Society's Maine Memory network and partnering with local organizations that need our help to make their collections electronically accessible.
THATCamp in Brief
THATCamp New England is an unconference that brings together scholars working in the digital humanities. The 2011 meeting will be held at Brandeis University. The main unconference will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2011. Several BootCamp sessions intended for digital humanities beginners will be held the Friday afternoon before, October 21.
