Jackie O'Dell
My research is in contemporary fiction and how it has both evolved in relation and responded to digital media. I will be teaching a course on David Foster Wallace's "Infinite Jest" at Tufts's Experimental College; the course will explore how/if students understand the way they read literature as impacted by their daily encounter with digital mediums and genres. I regularly teach an intro English composition class and am continually trying to incorporate more digital media into writing workshops, using platforms like GoogleWave or GoogleDocuments.
