I'm responsible for administration, program development, and providing support for innovation at the Center for the History of Medicine. We are a founding member of the Medical Heritage Library, a digital curation collaborative to which the medical libraries of Yale, Columbia, Johns Hopkins, and others contribute. We are activiely developing tools and methods to support digital humanities research in our digitized collections (so far, 18 months in, this consists of 10,000+ rare medical texts dating from 1700-1923).
THATCamp in Brief
THATCamp New England is an unconference that brings together scholars working in the digital humanities. The 2011 meeting will be held at Brandeis University. The main unconference will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2011. Several BootCamp sessions intended for digital humanities beginners will be held the Friday afternoon before, October 21.
