Sara Georgini
As a doctoral student in American history at Boston University, I am studying how the Adams family experienced three hundred years of religious history at home and abroad. A core part of my dissertation research is to map the wide array of religions that the Adamses encountered and to identify how the multigenerational pattern of religious activity changed over time; a deeper understanding of digital resources like GIS is crucial to my work. As an assistant editor of the Adams Papers editorial project, I work on the production of our digital content, with a special focus on supplying and editing new research tools for older, established datasets such as our digitized control file, the Online Adams Catalog.
